Nicola Sturgeon takes ‘working holiday’ in Portugal
NICOLA Sturgeon is heading to Portugal for a short “working holiday”, the Scottish Government has confirmed.
The First Minister, who is just back from a trade mission to China, is “going away for a couple of days from tomorrow”, a spokeswoman said.
While Ms Sturgeon will be on holiday, she will be keeping in daily contact with Scottish Government staff.
The spokeswoman said: “The First Minister is going to Portugal for a couple of days. She will be in touch with the office every day.
“The Deputy First Minister John Swinney will be around but she is still in charge.
“It’s very much a working holiday.”
