Police worker fined for romance checks

A Police Community Support Officer was fined £1,100 after she admitted using police records to check out potential romantic partners.

Lucy Bevan, 25, a PCSO with Northumbria Police, used the force's confidential database to check up on prospective partners she met on the beat.
