Home affront
With reference to Dr Dennis Connolly’s photograph (Picture Gallery, 15 November), Sir Walter Scott’s home was Abbotsford, never Abbotsford House.
I presume the renaming has come about as result of the National Trust for Scotland’s marketing of the property as a tourist attraction. As a Borderer, I deplore this renaming for whatever reasons.
