The long-awaited return of this creature most canny, will for the first time feature the Gruffalo’s Granny!
Thankfully, the above is in no way an indication of Julia Donaldson’s latest story. We are thrilled to learn of the upcoming new installment of the character who has brought joy to millions.
The third book comes more than 20 years after Donaldson’s last foray into the deep dark wood to visit the monster with knobbly knees, turned out toes and a poisonous wart on the end of his nose.
And it will again feature illustrations by Donaldson’s frequent collaborator Axel Scheffler, with the promised return of the characters from the previous two books, including Fox, Snake, Owl and Mouse.
And so what is the important date which every parent must now fix? Why it is released on September 10, 2026.
