Edinburgh man Lee Greenan appears in court charged with murder of Vikki Soloman in East Craigs

Lee Greenan appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday to face charges of murder, assault to injury and assault.

He made no plea and was remanded in custody.

The appearance follows the death of 44-year-old Vikki Soloman, who was found with serious injuries after police were called to a property in East Craigs on July 20. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Greenan, of Edinburgh, was committed for further examination and remanded in custody. His next appearance will come within eight days.
