Remarkable East Lothian girl, 5, battles blizzard to conquer Ben Nevis for charity
The pair have raised over £6,000.
A five-year-old girl has climbed to the summit of Ben Nevis during a blizzard to raise money for a Glasgow children’s hospital.
Faye Moffat, from Prestonpans in East Lothian, took on the challenge to conquer Britain’s highest peak with her dad Craig on Saturday.

The pair camped overnight and faced challenging conditions including snow and ice.
Craig told the BBC: "She faced snow, ice, a blizzard at the summit and a long descent in the dark - but she never once gave up."
He added: "I'm so proud of Faye for wanting to support such a great charity and also she now has an understanding of the difference we can all make."
The father-daughter duo have raised over £6,000 for the Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity (GCHC), the largest children’s hospital in Scotland.

On the JustGiving page, the message from Faye reads: "My name is Faye and I'm 5. My cousin Owen and friend Lucy are both alive because of the hospital and charity.
“I want to raise pennies to help buy things to help children who aren't well.
“I have done other fundraisers including climbing my first Munro last winter without help from my Daddy but this will be my hardest adventure.

“My Daddy says if we don't give up we can do anything so I won’t give up. Please help me raise pennies for the boys and girls who need help.”
Craig added: “I am so proud of Faye for wanting to support such a great charity and also she now has an understanding of the difference we can all make.
“Make no mistake this will be a huge challenge for Faye so I hope you can support her by raising awareness or sparing any pennies you may have.
“I personally look at Owen and Lucy enjoying life to its fullest and it gives me a great depth of feeling knowing if Faye or Cameron were very unwell there is support there for them to get better.”
