THESE stunning images of deer on Jura were taken by photographer Konrad Borkowski, who emigrated to the Hebridean island from his native Poland.

Konrad, 39, moved to Scotland after falling in love with Celtic culture, and has already published a book called Jura: The Wild Island.

The snapper, who has travelled to the likes of Borneo, New York and the African coast, has spent a decade photographing the landscape, people and wildlife of Jura and neighbouring Islay.

He has turned his attention to the population of red deer on the island of Jura for his latest project.

The animals outnumber humans on the island by a reported 30 to one.

The population of Jura is only around 200 while there are estimated to be as many as 6,000 deer.
