Death of city soldier Shaun Cole in Miami ‘an accident’
The death of Edinburgh soldier Shaun Cole in Miami has been ruled accidental by US police.
Private Cole, 22, died on holiday while in Florida for the Ultra Music festival in March, and it had previously been suspected that he had been a victim of crime.
The Royal Scots Borderer had only recently helped in the fight against Ebola in Sierra Leone.
The former Tynecastle High School pupil suffered a blunt force trauma to the head in what has been deemed to be the result of an accident.
