QUEEN Margaret University have released this stunning video of their Musselburgh campus as seen from the air.

The video is the latest from their Kinetic Film project series and was made using a drone capable of reaching 1000 metres in height.

‘Rise’ was created by award winning film maker Walid Salhab with help from Michael Grant.

The film shows the main academic building, student village, students union and sports buildings and the university’s landscaped grounds, while Musselburgh, the train station and the East Lothian coast are all visible in the background.

Shalab has previously put together a time-lapse/stop motion film of The Kelpies being constructed, while his time-lapse film of the Edinburgh landscape during the Fringe festival also earned him significant praise.
