The Complete University Guide (CUG) has published its latest UK university league table, with 14 Scottish universities having made the list.
The CUG compiled its 2027 league tables by ranking the best universities in the UK overall and across 74 subjects areas.
The rankings are based on several different measures, including entry standards, student satisfaction, research quality, and graduate prospects. Each university is given individual scores in each area which are then used to calculate an overall score for each university.
The University of Cambridge tops the UK table, which features 130 universities across the nation, with a perfect score of 100 per cent.
The University of Oxford comes in at number 2 with a score of 98 per cent, while London School of Economics is ranked third in the UK with a score of 95 per cent.
