The first season of Outlander: Blood of My Blood introduced audiences to the characters as they fought to be together against all odds. Claire’s parents began their romance exchanging letters from the battlefields of WWI, only for their love to be tested by an unexpected journey through time which saw them lost in 18th century Scotland.
Meanwhile, it was love at first sight for Jamie’s parents - despite belonging to rival clans. The end of season one of the prequel series saw the Beauchamps at the standing stones of Craig Na Dun, hoping to return to their own time. As for the other couple, their escape was hindered by the beginning of the 1715 Jacobite Rising.
