First taking place in 1949, the Emmy Awards are the biggest awards in television, with dozens of awards handed out across several ceremonies.
Lasat week already saw the presentation of the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, at which Scotland’s Alan Cumming won his third consecutive prize for hosting the American version of The Traitors.
But the biggest awards are still to be handed out at the main ceremony this evening (Monday, September 14), which will take place in the early hours of Tuesday morning UK time.
They will be presented by Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Mariska Hargitay from the Peacock Theater at LA Live in Los Angeles and can be watched live on free streaming channel LG1.
And there’s hope of more Scottish success, with rumoured new James Bond Jack Lowden up for a best supporting actor gong for his performance in spy drama Slow Horses and Richard Gadd nominated for drama Half Man .
Here are the favourites to win the 13 most prestigious awards - and their closest rivals.
