Scottish tech platform to support famous Burning Man festival in Nevada desert

Eventree, which helps festivals manage accreditations, access permissions and event workforces, has been appointed by Burning Man in a major international coup for the business.

Burning Man is a pop-up desert city in Nevada that welcomes more than 80,000 participants each year. The famous, week-long event is focused on community, art and “radical self-expression”. Eventree, part of the Citizen Ticket Group, will streamline how organisers issue and manage credentials, control access for teams and suppliers and coordinate large-scale staffing in this challenging desert location.

Based in one of the most stunning and logistically challenging locations in the world, Burning Man is operationally demanding, and our appointment shows how seriously organisers are taking accreditation and workforce management.

“Our focus is always on helping event teams run smoother events with more control on-site - and we’re excited to bring that to North America this year.”

Alongside Burning Man, the firm has signed multi-year agreements with two of the UK’s largest festival operators - Festival Republic (Live Nation) and Superstruct Entertainment - covering their full UK festival portfolios. Additional high profile wins also include the DF Concerts portfolio, including TRNSMT.

Bosses at the firm said that as festivals grow in scale and complexity, organisers are looking for systems that improve efficiency in operations, prevent access issues on-site, and help teams see in real time who is approved for which zones and when.

Following the Burning Man appointment, Eventree plans to accelerate its North American growth in 2026, with recruitment across business development, account management and customer service.
