Scottish Media Club celebrates talent and raises funds at Christmas
The event, the first of its kind in Scotland for decades, saw 130 people gather at the Virgin Hotel in Edinburgh earlier in the week
The newly launched Scottish Media Club has held a hugely successful Christmas event in Edinburgh, bringing together key figures in the industry and raising vital funds for charity.

The event, the first of its kind in Scotland for decades, saw 130 people gather at the Virgin Hotel in Edinburgh earlier in the week.
The Scottish Media Club was launched this year by a team of five – Simon Ridley-Thomas, regional director of Scotsman owners Media Concierge, Jack Robb, Amy Wilson and Nickie Wilson from Republic of Media and April Gray from Essence mediacom.
Ridley-Thomas said the team had three aims – to raise money for charity, to put Scotland’s vibrant media community firmly on the UK map, and to bring the ad agency planning and buying teams together with the media owners.
More than £2,700 was raised for Blood Cancer UK at the event, with donations still coming in.
