Indoor golf centre to join Ricky Burns’ gym at Scotland’s largest business park
“Coaching, corporate events, product launches and much more will make Nexgen Maxim Park the number one destination for indoor golf in Scotland” – Chris Tierney
An indoor golf centre is set to open at Scotland’s largest business park.
Maxim Park, which is located at Eurocentral, close to the M8 motorway between Edinburgh and Glasgow, said Nexgen Golf would be taking 1,800 square feet of space on the ground floor at the Maxim 3 building.
Nexgen Golf, run by golf professional Chris Tierney, will add to well established health and fitness facilities onsite at Maxim Park. Mighty Rick’s gym run by boxing world champion Ricky Burns, bike hire, yoga classes and a putting green are among the wellbeing amenities at the park.

Tierney said: “We are extremely excited to announce that Nexgen Golf is opening at Maxim Park. After our refurbishment we will be Lanarkshire’s very first 24/7 indoor golf centre. We will be partnering with the world’s leading launch monitor and simulator company Trackman.
“Coaching, corporate events, product launches and much more will make Nexgen Maxim Park the number one destination for indoor golf in Scotland.”
Maxim Park, which boasts 756,000 sq ft of office and retail space on the fringes of Glasgow, is part of Eurocentral and is owned by Shelborn Asset Management. It is home to a diverse range of occupiers including HSBC UK/First Direct, Aviva, Balfour Beatty, Amey and T Clarke.
HSA Retail acted on behalf of Maxim Park in the letting. Maxim Park’s office agents are MC2 and CBRE.
Caroline Baillie, director of park services, said: “We are pleased to welcome Nexgen Golf to Maxim. It represents another important addition to the growing mix of businesses and amenities available here, creating an even more vibrant destination for occupiers and the wider community.
“High quality leisure facilities play an important role, helping to support employee wellbeing, encourage collaboration and more opportunities for people to connect beyond the office. We are confident Nexgen Golf will be a popular attraction, offering a year round experience for golfers of all abilities while further enhancing the appeal of Maxim as a great place to work, visit and do business.”
