Ahead of the official Switch 2 event on April 2, Nintendo has whet the appetite of fans with a flurry of announcements during Nintendo Direct 2025.
In the Switch’s final days of being Nintendo’s top console, the games company have revealed a number of new titles, apps and more coming to the system - including their very on news app Nintendo Today!.
The 37-minute presentation was jam-packed with updates on games such as Pokemon Legends Z-A and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, with new titles announced including a new Tomodachi Life.
With so much still to look forward to from Nintendo in less than a week, it is surprising just how much there was to reveal during March’s presentation. From remakes to game ports, release dates and more, here is everything announced during Nintendo Direct March 2025.
5. Marvel Cosmic Invasion - Releasing Winter 2025
Another of the big announcements from Nintendo Direct 2025 was Marvel Cosmic Invasion. 6. Disney Villains Cursed Café - Out now
A visual novel game, in Disney Villains Cursed Café the player has the hopes and dreams of classic Disney Villains in their hands. The potions you make will influence the lives of Villains including Ursula, Cruella de Vil, Gaston and more - and surprise, the game is out now. | Disney Interactive Studios
7. Tamagotchi Plaza - Releasing June 27
A new entry to the Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop series of shop simulator games, Tamagotchi Plaza will see players manage a number of different businesses - from tea shops to opticians - and engage with more than 100 Tamagotchi. It will launch on June 27. | Bandai Namco Entertainment
8. No Sleep For Kaname Date, From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES - Releasing July 25
The latest entry in the AI: The Somnium Files series No Sleep For Kaname Date will arrive exclusively on Nintendo Switch from July 25. The mystery game will follow special agent Kaname Date who has an AI partner embedded in his eye. In the game, you must track down internet idol Iris who has been trapped in a mysterious escape game. | Spike Chunsoft
