Netflix have been fairly shy about revealing exact viewing figures, but have announced they will now publish them every six months.
This week saw the first set of most-watched programmes released, covering the first six months of 2023.
The report included more than 18,000 titles that were watched by nearly 240 million subscribers.

5. Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story
This spin-off from the hugely-popular Bridgerton series starring India Amarteifio has been watched for 503,000,000 hours by Netflix viewers. "Young Queen Charlotte's marriage to King George of England sparks an epic love story and transforms high society." | Netflix

The fourth series of murderous drama You transfers the action to England, but the body count continues to rise. It was watched for 440,600,000 hours. 7. La Reina del Sur
The most-watched Spanish language programme on Netflix is season three of La Reina del Sur, starring Kate del Castillo, Raoul Bova, and Humberto Zurita, which has been watched for 429,600,000 hours. "After years of blood, sweat and tears, a woman from humble beginnings finds herself in the perilous position of being a legend in drug trafficking." | Netflix
8. Outer Banks
The third series of Outer Banks has been watched on Netflix for a total of 402,500,000 hours. "On an island of haves and have-nots, teen John B enlists his three best friends to hunt for a legendary treasure linked to his father's disappearance." | Netflix
