Scottish extras wanted as major period drama returning to shoot new series in Scotland this spring

Extras are wanted for an unnamed “returning period drama” which is set to begin filming in Scotland this March.
A period drama shooting around Scotland later this year is looking for extras.
Described as a “major returning period TV series”, talent agency Extra People is looking for supporting artists to work on the production which is due to film around the Central Belt from March to August.
While unconfirmed by the casting agency, it appears likely that the extras will appear in season three of Apple TV’s drama The Buccaneers. Based on Edith Wharton’s unfinished novel of the same name, the first two seasons of the show were partially shot in Scotland with locations including Hopetoun House, Culzean Castle, St Abb's Head and more all appearing on screen.
The Buccaneers also shot in Glasgow, where a production known as “Debutante” is set to begin filming in the West End of the city from March 27. In addition, recent posts from the cast on social media appear to confirm that filming on the new series has now started.

The show stars Kristine Frøseth, Alisha Boe, Aubri Ibrag, Josie Totah, Imogen Waterhouse, Mia Threapleton, Emmy Award nominee Christina Hendricks, Leighton Meester, Grace Ambrose, Maria Almeida, Amelia Bullmore, Fenella Woolgar, Guy Remmers, Matthew Broome, Josh Dylan, Barney Fishwick, Greg Wise and Jacob Ifan.
Extras must be over the age of 18 and have the right to work in the UK, but otherwise applications are open to all genders, ethnicities and ages, as well as newcomers. Applications from those who live outside of the Central Belt will still be considered, but priority is likely to be given to those who are nearby.

The brief states that the ideal candidates “must be an early riser, have a great work ethic and professional attitude”.
Pay for the production will vary from £130 to £250 per day, depending on hours worked, based on Equity rates and - as with many jobs - having your own mode of transport would be a bonus, but is unnecessary.
The Casting Collective are also looking for Scottish extras to appear in two “major” film productions later this year.
