When does Celebrity Traitors 2026 start? Here's the official series 2 release date

It won’t be long until Celebrity Traitors returns to our screens with a second season.

The official release date for series two of The Celebrity Traitors has been revealed, and fans don’t have long to wait.

The highly anticipated reality competition show will return at the start of October, with stars including Bella Ramsey, James Blunt, Maya Jama and more all entering the iconic Traitors castle.

As well as the release date for the show, the BBC have confirmed the return of The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked and announced Traitor or Faithful? Claudia Decides, which will reveal to audiences how host Claudia Winkleman decides who is a Faithful and who is a Traitor.

Here is the official Celebrity Traitors series 2 release date, and what you need to know about its fellow spin off shows.

When will Celebrity Traitors series 2 start? Official release date

The Celebrity Traitors will return to screens on Thursday, October 1 at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. There will also be an extra long episode for the series premiere.

The series will then air for two nights each week, on Thursday and Friday evenings, at 8pm.

As well as the main series, Ed Gamble will return to host video podcast The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked. The show sees Gamble chatting with banished and murdered players, previous Traitors contestants - from both the regular and celebrity edition of the show - with unseen footage and exclusive interviews.

It will be on BBC One immediately after the main show each night with exclusive bonus episodes on BBC Sounds.

Finally, viewers will be able to take a dive into Claudia Winkleman’s mind to understand how she chooses who will be a Faithful and who will be a Traitor. New information and interviews will be revealed in Traitor or Faithful? Claudia Decides, which will be released on Thursday, October 1 at 9.15pm on BBC iPlayer.
